The Flashback Project is the untold story of UK Black Music from the mid 70’s to early 90’s.

For the first time this project explores the stories from this era revealing the music, fashion, politics, culture and community that these people created, and were a key part of in UK history.

The project also makes comparisons to the music and social scene of that era to today’s music industry.

Highlighting the rise in violence and gang culture in the UK today, the Flashback Project demonstrates an alternative, better and more fulfilling route that young people can take.
